How to play Sketch
Sketch is a drawing game for architects and anyone who likes sketching buildings. You draw building elevations line by line, like on a drafting sheet.
Controls
- Phone: press and hold anywhere – the pencil draws the line. Let go to stop.
- Computer: hold the mouse button or the space bar.
Rules
- Each line starts at the pencil and runs along the blue guide. Let go at the red mark.
- The closer you stop to the mark, the more points: perfect 3, good 2, okay 1. Three perfect lines in a row give a bonus point for each next perfect one.
- A line that misses by a lot snaps the pencil lead. You have 3 leads – when they are gone, the run ends.
- A finished building gives +5, and +5 more if no lead snapped on it.
Getting harder
From the third building the guide disappears as soon as you start drawing, and from the fifth the red mark does too – you have to remember the length. The pencil also moves a little faster with each building, and the starting speed adapts to how well you play.
Pause and ads
Use the pause button at the top during a run. After a good run you can watch an optional video to get a new lead once. Sometimes a short ad appears between runs, never during play.
